Kanyakumari, 1996: The Vivekanda Rock Memorial

Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu: The Vivekanda Rock Memorial on the little isle in front of the small town, in the evening. This the Southest point of India, between the Arabic sea and the Bengal gulf. There is a group of typical houses with resting canoes, some people and a goat in foreground, whereas a canoa with people is just barely visible into the sea. This is the slight enlargement of a part of the scan of a slide taken in July-August, 1996.
