Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu: The Briadeeswarar temple, or Brihadishvara temple is an ancient Hindu temple that is dedicated to deity Shiva, that dates back to the 11th century. Here a part of the decoration of an external wall, with a statue, and possibly the end of a gutter, or a fountain, that overlook a small basin. This is the scan of a slide taken in July-August, 1996.
