Alphabet of red coral: O
This alphabetic letter, the letter O, is made by small pieces of red coral skeleton. The pieces are posed on a mirror and are hence reflected, which makes a sort of game of perspective, too. In fact, you can find the whole alphabet, that is made by nearly the same few red coral pieces. These were recovered on a beach of Sardegna (Italy) in the eighties of the last century. The photo is taken with a macro, while the letter measures about 5 cm x 5 cm. This is an enlargement of a part of the original photo (March, 2018).
