Giannutri, Argentario: A split in the rocks onto the sea

Giannutri is an island near the promontory of Argentario, in the province of Grosseto, in Toscana. Among the island’s landmarks are the Grottoni (the big caverns). This a view of an impressive split in the rocks onto the sea, in the region where they are located. The rock colours vary between the dark grey and different hues of pink, whereas the calm sea is dark blue, with a couple of very small white waves (July, 2012).
