Fondi: The town within its plain.

Fondi: The town and its plain, characterized by quite a lot of small lakes, that broadens to the sea, betweens Sperlonga towards the South and Terracina towards to North. The panoramic photo is taken from a mountain that belongs to the Monti Aurunci Natural Park. One can distinguish, on the right, the cliff on the sea of Pisco Montano, behind which is Monte Sant’Angelo, where is located Terracina. Once more on the right, on the background, in the distance, there is the profile of the Monte Circeo, too. This is a slight enlargement of a part of the original image (August, 2015).
