Mahabalipuram, 1996: Evening landscape with grazing buffalos and goats.

Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu: In the opposite direction of the beach, that is nearby, a beautiful and peaceful evening landscape. There is a plain with meadows, that are covered by light green grass and some bush, and that are interrupted by strips of water. The plain is closed by a line of dark green trees at the horizon, and it houses a number of buffalos and goats that are grazing. One buffalo is nearly in foreground, making therefore possible to distinguish the typical bird posed on its back. This is the enlargement of part of the scan of a slide taken in July-August, 1996
