Mahabalipuram, 1996: A view of the beach in the evening, with the fishermen who have come back.

Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu: A typical evening view of the beach towards the Bay of Bengala (hence, the Indian Ocean), and of the sea, with the characteristic wood canoes and some fishermen who have come back near the seafront. In particular, there are many closed fishing nets on the sand, one of which is in foreground. It appears full of peaches, and it has two handles for being transported. This is the scan of a slide taken in July-August, 1996.
