Mahabalipuram, 1996: The entrance to the light house on the town main hill.

Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu: A view of the entrance to the light house that is located on the highest peak of the town main hill, with some women (who are dressed up with the typical floral decoration within the hair) who are scaling the last steps in the rock in order to reach it. In fact, the light house is on the top of a large, partially rose colored stone, that gives back the typical rocks of this hill. This is the enlargement of part of a slide taken in July-August, 1996.
