Egnazia: Ruins on the seafront.

Under a cloudy sky, a view of the seafront in the area where are part of the remains of the ancient Egnazia, near Fasano, that was a Messapian town before being a Roman one (and that was already a village in the XVI century BD). One can see an ancient wall (that appears anyway more recent), and the traces of excavated rocks, partially covered by the sea, that in the photo displays a small breaking wave (April, 2012).
