Kalahari: The fire in the night

In the Kalahari desert, during the drought period, the fire may set on spontaneously. Here a view of shrubs that are burning in the night, with flames that illuminate the sky. It was the Botswana part of the reserve, by arriving from Maun. This is the scan of a slide taken by a Nikon (Kalahari, 2006).
