A turtle in the little lake

A turtle - Trachemis scripta elegans - in the little lake, in a winter morning, in villa Ada. It is at the surface in order to breathe, with the head outside the water, and there are pieces of the mud of the pond's bottom on its body and on its shell (Rome, 2020).
