A group of antarctic cormorants

Description

A group of antarctic cormorants -Phalacrocorax atriceps-, on the seaboard of the peninsula Valdes, in Argentina, with their crests that make them unmistakables. They are resting on the rocks that appear during the low tide, in the middle of enlightened pools. A part of the spectacular high coast, seagulls and the sea itself are on the background, up to the mountains at the far horizon. This is the scan of a slide taken by a Nikon (Argentina, 2003).
