Within the Petrified Forest

A panorama in the Petrified Forest, a Argentina's National Park, in Santa Cruz province, that is a natural landmark. There is a fossil petrified trunk in foreground. It was the rainy season, in this arid region, and the geologically interesting mountains' tops reflect themselves onto a flat water surface that covers part of the plain. This is the scan of a slide that was made by a Nikon (Argentina, 2003).
